Get ready to start hopping with excitement, because Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Hop is back! The University of York Swing Dance Society’s massive weekend event is here, and it’s a whopper!

 

Whip-ma-WHAT?!

With over 10 hours of tuition, and more than 12 hours of social dancing, there’s a chance you may have no feet left by the end of the weekend, but you’d be mad to miss this bargain. The loss of feet will 100% be worth it. We promise.

Named after York's famous Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate, this is our full weekend of tasters, classes, workshops and socials. The traditional layout for the weekend will stay the same, but with a few cheeky extra changes this year - see more info on the streams, teachers and socials pages!

 

When do we whop?

Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Hop is Friday 8th - Sunday 10th February 2019. Time to get your shoes on, and come and hop with us in York! It's going to be magical.
